Digital X-ray Measurement

First of all I´d like to thank you for your trust and hope that this software will be of great use to you and your patients.
This programm has been developed solely in order not to forfeit the possibility of an important chiropractic diagnostic tool.

The reading of x-rays photographs and their exact & specific measurement is one of the greatest differences between chiropractics and other forms of manuel therapy. Mastery of this measurement procedure and the resulting chiropractic `listing´as the confirmation or elimination of an anatomical leg length difference, help the chiropractor make the transition into modern times of computer diagnostics with this reliable method which has proved so valuable over decades.

In our duty towards our patients to exercise due care, there may be no `force adjustment´ without previous x-ray diagnosis. This serves first and foremost the patient´s saftey and should, through specific diagnosis, speed up healing and shorten the duration of the treatment. Furthermore, the measurement of x-ray images serve the scientific aspects of chiropractics and stands right up with other imaging techniques. Pre and post pictures are not only good for documentation but show, as it has for the last hundred years, that chiropractics work. The developer and producer of the software are to be held in no way responsible, if errors in treatment are made. The x-ray measurement is an important part of the diagnosis, but: „The subluxation is to be found in the patient not in the x-ray.“ C.Gonstead, D.C.

All parties involved have worked with great care and effort. However, should questions arise we will try to be there for you through our Tech-support.

In order to optimise the software in future I would be happy to recieve your suggestions at the following e-mail address: info@dxray.de.

As time doesn´t stand still, I will inform you of new updates myself.

With chiropractic greetings
H.-J. R. Straub

Conducting Measurements

Measure simply & comfortably. Sitting at your PC with the DRV you are capable of taking various measurements from the upper cervical spine to the pelvis with just a few clicks. The results are to be seen clearly marked on the x-ray itself. The written findings deliver a complete overview of the values of each patient. Miscalculations are a thing of the past. You save time and supply your patient with easy to understand, up to date information about their treatment. Also, you have all the relevant, digitally stored information at your finger tips.

See for yourself on our online tutorials.

Patient Data Management

The Digital X-Ray Measurement enables you to take notes and record your patients treatment. This includes, next to the name and address also the date of birth (age is sometimes of importance for some measurements), the x-ray pictures and a free area for notes. In the note area you can also save internal comments, important patient information and document their treatment. The case pictures can subsequently be stored with the rest of the patient´s file. They can be transferred directly from CD or any other media device into DICOM or JPG. After this you no longer need an external device as all data is stored locally. You simply select the relevant patient and the images for that case will be loaded. When in view mode you can see the images next to one another as you would on a negtoscope.

Export and Print

Store your test results, transmit them onto a screen in your office or print them out directly. You can choose various modes of arrangement in order to show the relevant results.

These visual representations can be very useful during treatment or during consultation with a patient. The results can be printed out for the ongoing treatment or for your archives. In addition you can choose between the original x-ray and the picture with the lines of measurement on them, as well as written notes on the results.

Should you refer a patient to a colleague you can transfer the complete data in the form of a JPG and send it per e-mail or save it to disc.
